Prayer - Believing, hoping, loving

Hello my sweet friends!

It's been awhile since I've posted. I have felt a bit lost without this mode of communication...

So, the other day I was reading and came across a quote that spoke to me. Lately our groups have been intimate and moving in the direction of understanding how God initiates prayer. I love the discussion, the pressing of my mind, and the loving presence I get from all of you as my heart is opened more and more.

"All things are possible to him who believes, they are less difficult to him who hopes, they are easier to him who loves, and still more easy to him who practices and perseveres in these three virtues." ~Brother Lawrence~
I've read the scripture which says, "All things are possible to him who believes", but what about hope and love? How often one prays with sincerity, but finds it difficult to have hope in circumstance and love others? What will it cost me to move into hoping and loving? I can't be the only who thinks these thoughts? Of course, I am considering all these questions with the background knowledge that God initiates prayer.

All these questions begin running through my head...pressing, pressing, pressing. And, well, just puttin' myself out there :)
