Waiting to be shocked

So, I started reading Dira's copy of Love Wins (thanks girl!) and I am 87 pages in- a quick read and I am really interested. Anyway, I have to admit, I am waiting for the shock. The part where I drop my jaw and have to put down the book. Maybe it comes later, maybe I have read too many books that are out of the box, maybe their is no shock....
